Okay, so where has October disappeared to? Literally the quickest month ever! I tried lots of new beauty products this month, thanks to Sephora, and um, my birthday 🙂 So I had lots to choose from, but these few are the ones I am constantly reaching for everyday.
So some of these products I have already reviewed so I will leave their links down below, but the first product I want to talk about is,
CLARINS MULTI-ACTIVE JOUR: This moisturiser is an ‘early wrinkle correction cream gel’. Now I don’t think its got a very gel like consistency but more of a rich moisturising one. My skin seems to absorb this cream instantly after I apply it to my face which, is great for applying makeup in the mornings. My skin has been feeling so good lately and its definitely due to this cream – in my opinion. I haven’t had any breakouts at all since I started using it and my skin feels plump and soft. It has that signature Clarin’s scent too!
OSKIA RENAISSANCE CLEANSER: I could bath in the stuff and I definitely owe this product to how glowing my skin has been this month. Review – here.
MAC SATIN BLUSH in FLEUR POWER: This powder blush is great for the colder months as my skin gets extremely pale and I need something bright and colourful to add to my complexion. Its a peachy pink shade and very pigmented.
CHARLOTTE TILBURY FILM STAR BRONZE & GLOW: This has been the only bronzer and highlight I have used all month! Review – here.
KAT VON D TATTOO LINER in ‘TROOPER’: Trooper is the blackest shade this liner comes in and its jet black so thats amazing for me, as I love a feline cat eye for everyday makeup. This liner really does stay on for minimum 8hrs I would say. Which is why I love it. Its so easy to apply and makes doing a winged liner look so simple!
MAC LIPLINER in ‘DERVISH’: This lipliner has become my best friend recently. Its a natural pink/brown shade which I think suits my complexion better than the more red/brown shades like ‘Soar’. I use this pretty much everyday for work makeup.
TOO FACED MELTED METAL LIPSTICK in ‘PEONY’: Words cannot describe how much I enjoy wearing this liquid lipstick!! The camera didn’t really pick it up but its a metallic pink lipstick. So unusual and I don’t own anything like this in my lipstick collection. Great for when your face needs a pick me up!
BOBBI BROWN SKIN FOUNDATION: Now this I’ll be honest is a rather recent purchase which I bought because none of my foundations matched my pale skin tone anymore! Sad times. I really cant fault this foundation. It doesn’t cling to dry patches, fade away unevenly, or even feel like Im wearing makeup! Its light to medium coverage, but you could build it up. I will be doing a full review on this foundations soon.
So thats all my monthly favourites! Hope you enjoyed reading.
