KIEHL’S Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate

Expensive, but worth the money!

I feel like I am forever purchasing lotions and potions for my skin these days! But as of recently I have really gotten into skincare and only using the best brands for my skin, after all you only have the skin you were born with – it can’t be replaced, so I’m really trying to look after my own.

I love my moisturiser from KIEHL’S but as it is oil-free I feel as though I needed something with a little extra oomph for my night time routine. I found that my skin was very lack-lustre and a little dehydrated so I decided it was time I invested in a serum for night time. Originally I wanted to buy their Midnight Recovery serum but I was advised for everyday use to use something less aggressive.

The lovely sales assistant advised me that their Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate would work best for my combination skin and wouldn’t break me out, unlike their Midnight Recovery (is it just me or do KIEHL’S have the longest names for their products?!) And I can use this serum day and night.

This product is great for reducing the appearance of lines and wrinkles around your forehead, mouth, eyes and marionette. It contains 10.5% pure vitamin C, which is great for skin ageing and improving the texture, firmness and skin tone. When applied it absorbs right into the skin without leaving any residue or stickiness to the skin.

I have been using this product for about 2 weeks now and honestly can see a visible difference in my skin tone and pores and my skin is definitely more hydrated and glowing. I will definitely re-purchase this product when mine is all gone, but it does have a hefty price tag at €56 so maybe try out a sample before you buy the bottle. I am really enjoying using this product and it smells amazing too.

Oh! I was advised the same thing by the lady in Arnotts as we kinda have the same skin but I wasn’t sure about the whole line reducing qualities as I felt it wasn’t what my 23year old skin wants?? I don’t know I was afraid to buy it and ended up buying the midnight recovery and use it 3-4 times a week but I kinda wish I had bought this now?! Even though that’s great but you can use this line reducing bottle every day… so torn haha… is it suitable for young skin really? xx

Hey Carmen! 🙂 I think so? I’m not totally convinced about the anti-ageing but it has improved my uneven skin tone soooo much! So I’m happy about that! I’m not too sure I’d purchase it again for that price though…xx
