Sequins and Graffiti

305

Hello everyone! Heres a bright and colourful post for this dull Monday morning 🙂

This post is a transitional one whereby Im going to show you how I style one top for day and night. Something a bit different but I couldn’t really decide what outfit I liked better, the skirt or the leather trousers! This top is from one of my favourite vintage shops in Temple Bar – ‘Shotsy’!

Its a super tiny little boutique just on Temple Lane South near The Wall of Fame, and they stock the cutest items. I seen they posted a picture of this top on their instagram and on my lunch break I ran over the Ha’penny bridge straight to Temple Bar to purchase! If you are noticing a rather unfamiliar backdrop for my blog, thats because I’m in Windmill Lane. A really cool spot covered in graffiti in the inner city of Dublin. U2 recored most of their earlier albums here in Windmill Lane studios back in the day!

So that would be how I would wear this glam top during the day, just with tights and a leather skirt to dress it down slightly. Although there really isn’t any dressing down such a bright sequency top like this one!ha

This is an actual outfit I wore out to a gig in The Academy about a week ago and I absolutely loved wearing it! Im definitely going to start collecting these sequenced tops from different vintage shops around Dublin as you just feel so glam in them. Its also so good knowing that no one will be wearing the same thing as you!

Top – Shotsy Vintage

Trousers – Topshop
