So today I have a bit of a different post all about my new favourite autumn nail shades. I think these four colours are just perfect for autumn and I purchased all of them from BarryM cosmetics in Boots. Personally BarryM nail polishes are my favourite just because I think they dry quickly and the formula is just the right consistency. Also the smaller brush size is perfect for my shorter nails and narrow nail beds so it makes application much easier!
I guess I’ll start with my favourite, which is, the greyish/purple colour which is called 358 or ‘Vintage Violet’. I never owned a nail polish colour like this before, which was the main reason I was drawn to it. Although the colour may not jump out at you on the shelf, its so unusually beautiful! It is definitely my current favourite nail polish I own.
My second favourite would be the dark green colour, which in my opinion is super autumnal. This polish is from their Jelly Hi Shine range, which I love as its super durable and makes your nails appear salon perfect! This shade is number 428 or ‘Watermelon’.
The burgundy colour is from their matte nail collection and is number 441 or called ‘MNP Crush’. This is such a beautiful colour, I had never tried any matte nail polishes before but I will definitely be purchasing more as I love the finish.
The bright purple shade doesn’t actually have a name, but nevertheless, its the more fun colour out of these four. I do prefer darker shades coming into autumn/winter but this is the perfect purple to perk up any outfit when you want something slightly more out there, but at the same time still being in the autumnal shade theme.
After I paint my nails I always use a hand cream to make them super soft as my hands get very dry in the winter. My new favourote hand cream is this L’Occitane one, in ‘Vanilla Boquet’. Smells so good!
Sorry about the lack of photos with this one, but the light was against me and these where the best I could do. Also, I have extremely un-photogenic hands!! What are your favourite autumnal nail colours? I will also be doing my favourite autumnal lipsticks – so watch out for that one too xxx
