Mango and Avocado Smoothie Snack


So my wonderful boyfriend bought me a smoothie blender for my birthday this year, which I was over the moon about, because I have wanted one for ages! I heard that smoothies for breakfast, lunch or as a snack were a great way for you to keep in shape and be healthy.

I am a serial snacker and constantly crave sugar throughout the day, so I wanted to try something new that might help beat my sugary cravings and or act as a meal replacement for breakfast or lunch.

I found this amazing mango and avocado smoothie recipe online which is meant to be great for dieting. It tastes absolutely amazing, I cant recommend it enough! All you need is:

1/4 cup of cubed mango

half of a ripe mushed avocado

low fat organic natural yogurt

half a lime

1/4 cup of mango juice (I used apple juice)

6 cubes of ice

Its so quick and simple to make and tastes delicious! Im addicted to making smoothies now and they are so filling in comparison to snacking on unhealthy cereal bars or, toast or biscuits! You should definitely give it a try if you are looking to improve your lifestyle. You definitely feel more energised and awake after a healthy smoothie, but naturally you would if you think about all the nutrients and vitamins you are giving your body 🙂

Im going to try and post some healthy recipes regularly on my blog now as I’m trying to incorporate more healthy lunches and dinners into my diet and I am going to try to go to the gym more often. Hopefully I will start seeing results before Christmas, as I have this dress that is one size too small and I really want to fit into it. Thats my little personal goal.
