Soap and Glory ‘Flake Away’

Flake Away by Soap and Glory is a leg scrub designed to attack flaky and scaly legs, I thought this would be the perfect product to try when I need to scrub off any nasty scaly fake tan from my skin. I am always quite conscious when trying new products on my skin because I have rather sensitive skin, but this product was actually quite gentle on my skin and it didn’t make me break out on my chest or back areas either, which, I always worry about when using quite perfumy products. I really wanted to give my legs some TLC because we are coming into the summer months and we cant hide behind our tights forever!

This product has a very perfumy sweet smell, I personally love when my shower gels and bubble baths are quite fragrant as I think it makes the whole showering experience much more pleasurable! This product claims to “transform your scaly legs from reptilian to radiant”, and I must admit it is great for attacking dry skin and making your legs more soft and supple. This is a great product too use before applying fake tan. The scrub contains sea salt, grapeseed and almond oils. The salt particles in the scrub are quite large and grainy so it is ideal for the use on legs, feet and elbows. It also has a very oily consistency which I really like because Im a big fan moisturising with dry body oils. The product also contains shea butter, sugar and peach seed powder, so it really is a large concoction of grainy substances mixed with super hydrating sources like shea butter and almond oil.

Overall this product has made my legs super soft and flake free so it gets a thumbs up from me. My legs are definitely summer time ready, thanks to Soap and Glory.

P.s. I really love the 1950’s packaging on all Soap and Glory products.
